WorshipU Director
Redding, California - United States | Bethel Music | Full timeThe WorshipU Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing an online platform called WorshipU. WorshipU is a comprehensive resource, mentorship, and connecting platform designed specifically for worship leaders, musicians, and creatives from all around the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and develop a strategic roadmap for WorshipU, aligning its goals with the mission and values of the organization.
- Content Development: Oversee the development and curation of excellent resource materials, including video courses, tutorials, tracks, and other content, ensuring they address the needs and interests of worship leaders, musicians, and creatives.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Create and manage mentorship programs, connecting experienced mentors with individuals seeking guidance in their worship leadership and creative endeavors. Offer personalized feedback, support, and encouragement to help members grow and develop their skills.
- Community Building: Foster a vibrant and supportive online community by creating avenues for connection, collaboration, and relationship-building among WorshipU members. Develop and manage discussion forums, social media groups, and interactive features to encourage engagement.
- Instructor and Mentor Management: Identify qualified instructors and mentors who carry our culture that can contribute valuable expertise, skills and teaching to the platform. Coordinate their involvement, ensure the quality of their content, and provide support and resources as needed.
- Platform Management: Oversee the technical aspects of the WorshipU platform, working closely with the development team to ensure a seamless user experience, troubleshoot any issues, and implement improvements and updates as necessary.
- Collaboration and Partnerships: Seek opportunities for collaboration with other organizations, ministries, and industry experts to enhance the resources and offerings of WorshipU. Establish partnerships and secure guest instructors, speakers, and contributors.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Collect feedback from users and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of WorshipU's resources and programs. Use data and insights to continually improve the platform and meet the evolving needs of the community.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the budget for WorshipU, allocating resources effectively to support content development, platform maintenance, marketing efforts, and community initiatives.
- Industry Knowledge and Trends: Stay up to date of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices. Continually expand your own knowledge and expertise to ensure WorshipU remains relevant and at the forefront of industry developments.
- Strong background in worship leading, music, and/or creative arts.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in music, theology, worship ministry, or a related field
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Experience in developing educational content and online courses.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and community management tools.

Social Media Manager - Redding
Redding, California - United States | Bethel Music | Full timeAs the Social Media Manager, you will maintain and grow Bethel Music’s social networks through collaborative strategy and curated content. You will work closely with the Marketing and Creative Team to create new social campaigns, build brand recognition, and manage all social content for Bethel Music. You should produce error-free content and have the skills and attention to detail to edit your work. You are a highly motivated and creative team player that will utilize your talents to showcase Bethel Music’s online presence. This person will be the point person for all social media marketing, focusing their efforts on data-driven KPIs, social platform optimization, and content strategy. This role requires an in-depth understanding of marketing practices, social media, and advanced communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a clear social media strategy based on business goals, metrics, and analytics in collaboration with the Marketing and Creative Team and stakeholders.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and social promotion.
- Responsible for developing the social media calendar on a 2-week basis, i.e., plans are submitted for approval two weeks before posting.
- Responsible for executing all social posting in accordance with the approved 2-week plan.
- Responsible for daily monitoring of Social Platforms: responding to comments and questions, deleting hateful comments, checking direct messages, responding when appropriate, and actively engaging with our audience.
- Responsible for daily monitoring tagged posts and mentions in stories, looking for valuable user-generated content to share with our audience.
- Scope out all creative assets and work with Project Manager and Marketing Manager to ensure curated content is delivered on time and on brand for all social platforms.
- Research current trends and successful styles for content as you assist the designers and Creative Director in curating our social media platforms.
- Define and track important social media goals.
- Work alongside Marketing Manager to develop a social growth strategy for each artist.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
