Your song “You Make Me Brave” carried me and my family through the hardest season of my life, when I suffered an Amniotic Fluid Embolism during the labor and delivery of our daughter. I suffered cardiac arrest, and died before my husband’s eyes with our daughter still inside of me. As they rushed me from the delivery room they declared “Mom is gone, we must try and save the baby” and my husband was faced with a moment of decision: be brave or fall apart.

He ran after the doctor and nurses as they rushed me down the hall and began declaring the word of the Lord over me: “You will live and not die! You are full of life!” And he was right. God stepped in and brought me back from death FOUR times that night!

I spent time on life support and our daughter was sent immediately to the Newborn ICU. During our 10 or 11 days in the hospital my husband would almost always be singing or playing “You Make Me Brave” from his cell phone. It got to a point where the lyrics were constantly in my head, bringing encouragement and HOPE!

The months that have followed have been very tough as we recover both physically and emotionally. We must have listened to the song at least a hundred times already. So, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for such an amazing gift to our family. -Laura
